Rory started cooking at home from a very young age, however officially started his Chef career in the year 2000 at the age 17 at a 4.5-star seaside resort facility.
Rory then worked in a range of restaurants including Fine Dining, Seafood, a Pizza shop, Middle Eastern Cuisine, a Gastro Pub, a Bar/ Grill, Hotels and even worked in a selection of restaurants in Thailand.
After a range of experiences, Rory then moved onto a Fine Dining 3 Hat restaurant (Australia’s equivalent to 2.5 Michelin stars), which was when he received a phone call from a friend offering him the job as 3rd Chef on the prestigious 115m M/Y Luna.
After building his culinary knowledge on M/Y Luna and previously working with M/Y Titania’s Head Chef, Nick. They are both now reunited and look forward to cooking for you here onboard.
When Rory has free time, he lives in a condo with his wife in central Thailand.
